The Biocultural Education and Research Programme in collaboration with PEG Farm and Natural Reserve presents its first Botanical Symposium and Exhibition under the theme "Plants and Planting for the Future." This highly anticipated event will spread over three days, opening with a reception on April 11th 2019 beginning at 7pm. On the 12th and 13th of April, 2019, patrons will be presented with research done by international, regional and local scientists in the fields of ethnobotany, food security and drug discovery. Also on April 12th and 13th there will be an exhibition of products based only on local plants which include agri-products, cosmetics, art, craft, textiles and gardens. To attend the exhibition there's an entrance fee of 20BDS while those interested in exhbiting their products will be charged a $30BDS fee.
