Air Travel
Most major airlines from the United Kingdom (i.e. British Airways, Virgin, etc.), the United States (American Airlines, JetBlue, etc.), Canada (Air Canada/ Rouge, WestJet) and some from Europe (i.e. Lufthansa) offer daily/ 2-3x weekly flights to Barbados via major connecting hubs. Please check your local international airline or travel agent for more information. Regional travellers can connect to Barbados with LIAT, Caribbean Airlines, Air Caribes, Air Antilles and Surinam Airways via major connecting hubs in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad and Tobago; Kingston, Jamaica and St. Martin/ St. Maarten. Visa Requirements
Most CARICOM, US, Canadian and UK Passport Holders do not require visas to enter Barbados. Please check https://www.visitbarbados.org/plan-your-trip/visa-and-entry-requirements for more information.
Airport Transfers, Taxis and Public Transport
Airport transfers are usually USD$30-35 by taxi to locations between Cave Hill Campus and Holetown, St. James.

The UWI, Cave Hill Campus is on a major public transport route. Public buses (blue buses) and ZRs/ route taxis are available near most hotels on the South and West Coasts and Bridgetown. A typical fare is approx. USD$2.00.
Conference Transport
The Local Organizing Committee (LOC) should be able to provide some level of transport by shuttle to and from conference venue(s) and local suggested hotels daily but we will need to coordinate these when you register for the conference. If you are staying in private accommodation you may need to take a taxi, rent a car or use the public transport system. Most coastal locations are on an accessible bus route with nearby taxi stands/ dispatches.
